The repertoire of Te Cuento una Vida brings together a careful selection of original stories based on real biographies, the result of in-depth research and a sensitive artistic approach. These stories -written and interpreted by Verónica Pensosi- offer the public unique cultural experiences, full of emotion, knowledge and human values.

Organized in thematic cycles, this tour includes the lives of women who blazed trails, essential figures of art and literature, creators of the seventh art, disturbing characters and narratives designed for special dates. Each cycle can be enjoyed as a single event, workshop or, in some cases, as guided tours in real spaces.

The proposal combines oral tradition with documentary rigor and commitment to dissemination, creating bridges between generations, cultures and disciplines. It is a different way to learn, reflect and be moved by the lives that have left their mark.

The project offers cultural routes through the city. It also offers events for cultural institutions such as libraries, universities or educational and cultural institutes. These oral narrations are designed to be enjoyed live: in educational institutions, cultural spaces or even private events.

Your life is a story workshop

The workshop “Your Life is a Story” invites the elderly to learn how to narrate an anecdote of the great adventure of their lives as if it were a story, to spin a good story and to transmit their knowledge and enriching life experiences.

The workshop has been given several times in Madrid libraries for the #LEEMADRID+60 campaign of the Book and Reading Area of the Subdirección General del Libro de la Consejería de Cultura, Turismo y Deportes.

Technical requirements

Technical requirements are limited to a room with a PC, projector and an open space as a stage. And, if possible, warm lighting and a high chair are preferred.
Depending on the capacity, a lavalier or headset microphone may also be required.

The duration of the single acts are narrations with a 90-minute discussion afterwards.
The duration of the workshops will be adjusted to the client’s needs, although sessions of a minimum of two hours are recommended.

The cost of the events depends on their characteristics (capacity, distance, etc.) and will be communicated after the initial meeting.
